The following information applies only to Advance Registration.
Eligibility to Advance Register
- Enrolled at UCA for the current semester.
- Admitted or readmitted to UCA for the semester.
- Have been advised and had registration hold released by academic advisor’s department.
Notice:
- Full admission or readmission to UCA is required for participation in advance registration.
- ALL outstanding obligations to the University MUST be cleared before advance registration.
Directions for Advance Registration
- Prepare a proposed class schedule (include alternate courses).
- Be advised and have registration hold released by MAJOR DEPARTMENT OFFICE, prior to the beginning of the advance registration period.
- Register using Banner Self-Service system available via URSA - http://ursa.uca.edu.

The Banner Self-Service system will be available according to the schedule for advance registration below for students to register and make schedule changes (drop/add).
The Banner Self-Service system will be open to all eligible students to register and make schedule changes (drop/add) thereafter and until the last business day of the University immediately before the first day of classes for the semester.
The Banner Self-Service system will no longer be available to register or make schedule changes for a specific term once classes begin for the semester.
The Banner Self-Service system will not be available 12 midnight to 5:00 am due to system maintenance.

THE BANNER SYSTEM WILL NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
- An approval to add or enroll in a closed course.
- An overload enrollment that exceeds the maximum set by institutional policy.
These types of exceptions must be handled manually.
A "Registration Hold" must be removed by the major department before the Banner system will allow access for Advance Registration.
